Learning Objectives

By the end of this presentation, you will be able to:

  • Discuss sexual and reproductive health issues for women with rheumatoid arthritis
  • Discuss best practices in RA management for pregnant and lactating women, including pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical therapies
  • Review contraception and pre-conception counseling for a patient with RA
  • Counsel patients with RA regarding the risks and benefits of RA treatment during pregnancy and lactation
