Developing Technologies for Preventing Unintended Pregnancy & STIs

This is a one-hour live internet-based activity. To receive continuing education credit, learners should 1) take the pre-test 2) review the webinar and 3) complete the post-test.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:

  • Define multipurpose prevention technologies (MPTs)
  • Describe three benefits of MPTs for women
  • Apply effective strategies to increase usage of existing MPTs for unintended pregnancy and STI prevention

Accreditation Information

Physicians: The Association of Reproductive Health Professionals is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. ARHP designates this internet enduring material for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Others: A certificate of attendance will be issued indicating that this activity is accredited for a maximum of 1 hour of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM.
