Advanced LARC Topics for Providers: Immediate Postpartum LARC Workshop, Part 1

By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Explain the benefits of immediate postpartum LARCs
  • Discuss the data supporting the safety, efficacy, and cost-effectiveness of IPP LARC to address patient concerns
  • Identify ways to address obstacles impeding the uptake of IPP LARC programs, including financial, administrative, and medical issues

This is a one-hour internet-based activity. To receive continuing education credit, learners should 1) take the pre-test 2) review the webinar and 3) complete the post-test.

By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Describe how to set up an IPP LARC program at your institution by addressing the concerns of key stakeholders
  • Identify the key elements of a program including protocol development, patient eligibility and provider training
  • Apply best practice IPP IUD insertion strategies

Accreditation Information

Continuing Medical Education Credits: ARHP is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education (CME) for physicians. ARHP designates each live activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should only claim the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Continuing Nursing Education Credits: ARHP is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number 16643, to provide nursing continuing education credits. Each activity is approved for 1.0 contact hours.
