Description of Organization:
The Training and Education Coordinator (TEC) is responsible for developing and delivering FC2 female condom outreach and education on the continent of North America (with a specific focus on the USA, Puerto Rico, and Canada) in the public sector only. The TEC will work closely with the marketing team to develop and maintain FC2 educational and marketing materials. The Training and Education Coordinator will work closely with the BDM to assist state, local and regional stakeholders and public health professionals in developing FC2 programs that are effective and sustainable. The Training and Education Coordinator represents the FHC at
national conferences and meetings where she/he will promote product and services to potential and existing customers.
Adapt and update current FC2 training modules.
Liaise with CBOs, NGOs, ASO, and state and local departments of health who procure
FC2 and help them plan FC2 outreach and training that is effective and sustainable.
Plan all logistics related to FC2 Provider Training, including but not limited to, date,
location, number of participants, equipment, room set up, post-training follow up, etc.
Schedule and deliver FC2 Provider training and outreach that directly correlates with
increased FC2 procurement and return on investment.
Identify and provide contact information to FHC of key stakeholders and providers from
Communicate with FHC staff to handle packing and delivery of all training supplies and
materials to training and conferences.
Facilitate FC2 Provider Training.
Submit FC2 training, conference, and other reports to the BDM.
With BDM, follow up with key stakeholders and decision makers to determine impact of
training and outreach on procurement.
Provide individualized outreach and education in key areas identified by FHC as target
FC2 areas within the U.S.
Create and help maintain database of DOH, CBO, and ASO agencies who receive, procure
and/or distribute FC2.
Work with BDM to research, contact, and maintain effective communication with key
stakeholders and procurement decision makers.
Help identify key procurement decision makers.
Track the impact of education and training on FC2 procurement.
Bachelor’s degree in public health, health education, or similar discipline.
Proven experience in health communication and health education.
Experience developing and delivering health related training modules.
Specialized knowledge of Sexual and Reproductive Health.
Candidates with social marketing experience preferred.
Able to work independently and fast, think out of the box, results oriented and work with
Able to travel within the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada.
Experience working with CBOs, ASOs, or local Departments of Health within the U.S.
At least 5 year experience working in sexual and reproductive health.
Knowledge of the Spanish language preferred.
Fluency in English is required.
