Shontelle Dixon, is a new Education Program Manager for ARHP. She is from Tulsa, OK. Received an MPH in Health Promotion Sciences from The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. OK and received a bachelor’s of Science in Psychology and Biology from Baker University, in Baldwin City, Kansas. She is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) and serves as one of the directors on the Board of Professional Development for The National Commission of Health Education Credentialing Inc. (NCHEC), and was recently elected as a board member on the Education Board for APHA. She previously worked as a Teen Pregnancy Prevention Specialist for the Tulsa Health Department and as an Adjunct Professor of Biology for Tulsa Community College, and taught diabetes education support group classes in Tulsa, OK. She has a strong background in health education, program planning, and community outreach among diverse populations. She is dedicated to reproductive and preventive health care initiatives and excited to embark on a career opportunity with ARHP.
