Abortion Resource Center

January 22, 2007, marked the 34th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the landmark Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion in the United States. This decision is the centerpiece of abortion law in the US. Essentially, by handing down Roe, the Court recognized that a decision whether or not to terminate a pregnancy should reside with a woman, not the government or politicians.

The Abortion Resource Center includes important information about legislation and advocacy on this topic and important facts about abortion in the US and abroad.
