Managing HPV: A New Era in Patient Care: HPV in Men

Learning Objectives

Participants of this activity will be able to:

• Accurately describe the prevalence and impact of HPV infection and HPV-associated diseases in men
• Accurately counsel patients on the primary risk factors for HPV infection in heterosexual men and men who have sex with men
• List preventive actions that males can take to reduce the risk of HPV infection and HPV-associated diseases
• Describe the current recommendations for screening for HPV-associated diseases in men
• Describe office-based approaches to screening for HPV-related diseases in men
