Learning Objectives

By the end of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss sexual concerns with female patients and diagnose female sexual dysfunctions (FSDs), such as hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD).
  • Identify non-judgmental and sexuality inclusive counseling techniques to be utilized by providers.
  • Provider patient education regarding available interventions, therapeutic options (individual and/or partner), comorbidities, and other resources related to HSDD.
  • Describe diagnosis, symptom management, and treatment options to female patients experiencing HSDD.


Accreditation Information

Continuing Medical Education Credits: continuing Medical Education Credits: Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education (CME) for physicians, physician assistants, and certified nurse midwives. ARHP designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Participants should only claim the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
