Beth Kruse, MS, CNM, ARNP

Beth Kruse has been providing sexual and reproductive health care to women of all ages since 1985. She is currently the SRH & family planning nurse practitioner for Columbia Health Center, serving low-income women and girls through the Seattle-King County Department of Public Health. Previously, she served for seven years as the National Abortion Federation’s associate director of clinical services. She has extensive clinical and research experience with abortion, including serving on the faculty of NAF’s Medical Abortion Education Program, publishing several abortion-related articles in peer-reviewed journals, and co-authoring the chapter on quality abortion care in the 2009 edition of the NAF textbook. She spent several years developing and implementing NAF’s Quality Assurance program in Mexico City following the 2007 decriminalization of abortion. Beth is a frequent speaker at professional association meetings in the US and abroad. She currently sits on the Data and Clinical Safety Monitoring Committee of the Primary Care Initiative: Health Workforce Pilot Project developed by ANSIRH/UCSF and was a planning committee member for ARHP’s Reproductive Health 2012 meeting. She is happily and active member of ARHP, NAF/Clinicians for Choice, ACNM, and the Washington State Nursing Association.
