Position Responsibilities: Examines and treats patients independently and in autonomous collaboration with other health care professionals under standing orders of Medical Director. Performs initial/annual examinations and ensures proper care and disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment with a reproductive focus in a family planning health center.
Qualifications:
- Requires a master's degree in area of specialty or national board certification as a nurse practitioner in an area of specialty
0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area, and is licensed as a nurse practitioner.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks.
- May lead and direct the work of others.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
