Planned Parenthood of Delaware is seeking energetic, motivated candidates for a part-time mid-level clinician position (two days per week) in our Rehoboth Beach medical center.
PPDE has provided high quality affordable health care, education, and advocacy to women, men, and teens for more than seventy-five years. Health care includes routine gynecological and contraceptive services; emergency contraception; prenatal services, cancer screenings; STI testing, prevention counseling and treatment; HIV testing and counseling; pregnancy testing and options counseling; and colposcopy services and abortion care.
Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing gynecological exams and other reproductive health services in compliance with PPDE Standards and Guidelines and in collaboration with Medical Director.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-3 years experience in women’s health care required.
- Current Delaware license as a Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Midwife, with National certification preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, listening and interpersonal relationship skills
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure due to conflicting demands
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on excellent client and colleague service
- Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse environment and build productive relationships
- Ability and willingness to manage a minimum of four patients per hour
