In addition to our powerful mission, ARHP is a great place to work. We have a collegial culture that respects work/life balance, maintain a standard work week of thirty-five hours, and support employees with a generous salary and benefits package.
ARHP is looking for a strong addition to our communications team. Do you love to be in command of a whole lot of projects happening at once? Is your attention to detail legendary? Are your customer service skills smooth as butter?
The membership assistant will be the primary administrator of all things membership at ARHP. As the point of contact for our members, this person needs to be warm, smart, effusive, and able to leave members feeling well taken care of in every interaction. This person will also do all of the processing associated with membership including data entry, invoicing, renewals, member letters, reporting, and prospect outreach. The membership assistant is generally regarded as our database guru and owner of all things Raiser's Edge, our state-of-the-art database. Needless to say, fastidious attention to detail and maintaining squeaky clean data are paramount.
In addition to membership responsibilities, the person in this position will provide administrative support for the ARHP team. We need a friendly sort to greet visitors from the reception desk and answer phones. Data entry, sorting mail, and keeping the basic processes of the office running will be standard daily activities. A can-do willingness to anticipate and tackle the shifting administrative needs on any given day will be important.
For this position, attitude, energy, smarts, and commitment are essential. Being an eager team player will be quite important to success in this position. We also insist that you be a nice person committed to working hard and having fun at work.
Dazzle us! Send your resume, cover letter (including salary requirements), and writing sample to firstname.lastname@example.org with "membership assistant" in the subject line. To maximize training time with our current membership assistant, the ideal candidate will be able to start on June 18th. Looking forward to meeting you.
