Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest is one of the largest Planned Parenthood affiliates in the nation, located in “sunny” Southern California. We provide over 300,000 patient visits annually through a network of 19 health centers in the communities of San Diego, Riverside and Imperial Counties. Join us and help provide visionary leadership to our mission of ensuring broad access to reproductive healthcare through direct service, education and advocacy.

Position Responsibilities:

We seek a board-certified OB/Gyn or Family Practice MD, with demonstrated leadership skills and at least 5-7 years of directly related experience. You must be willing to obtain surgical and admitting privileges at a local hospital. Reporting to our CEO, you will provide oversight and supervision to our directors and clinicians to ensure the provision of high-quality care with a strong focus on visionary leadership and teamwork.

As an integral member of our Patient Services management team, you will advise the CEO/President and Board on clinical matters, participate in the implementation/evaluation of affiliate programs and risk & quality management programs, and provide medical supervision and guidance to affiliate staff, clinicians and physicians. You will provide medical services in both family planning and surgical health centers (must be willing to provide first and second trimester abortion procedures).



Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will be Board Certified OB/GYN with a full range of OB/GYN experience that includes at least 5 years in first-and-second-trimester abortion; female sterilization and other gynecologic surgery; full range of contraception services; colposcopy and management of cervical dysplasia; and gynecologic emergencies. We will also consider a Board Certified Family Practitioner with a minimum of 7 years in family planning.
