Description of Organization: The Association of Reproductive Health Professionals (ARHP)—one of the best and most unique places to work in DC—is seeking candidates for an internship to join ARHP’s team of passionate, committed, smart, and savvy professionals.
ARHP is a pro-choice medical association with a mission to educate health care providers, the public, and policymakers. Advancing reproductive health for over 45 years, ARHP is widely known as the convener of renowned, passionate and committed professionals in the field.
Position Responsibilities: Interns may support work related to the following activities.
- Continuing education accreditation compliance tasks and certificate processing for ARHP constituents
- Needs assessment research on clinician education opportunities
- Publication development and fulfillment
- The Curricula Organizer for Reproductive Health Education (CORE) and The Global Opportunities Tool (GO Tool) web-based resources
- Promotion for upcoming ARHP programs and membership activities
- Maintenance of ARHP’s social networking sites
- Preparation for ARHP’s annual meeting, Reproductive Health 2012
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: Students interested in and familiar with reproductive health issues are encouraged to apply. Candidates should be team players with good oral and written communication skills, a positive attitude, and willingness to learn and adapt quickly. Ability to be innovative, organized, manage time well, provide excellent customer service, and experience with 2007 Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the internet are preferred. Applicants must currently be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate level program.
