Our current priority is to increase the participation of a wide range of health care providers in providing and connecting women to safe abortion care, particularly in rural and low-income areas. We emphasize work with local partners to achieve locally-driven, locally-relevant goals and connect this work to national organizations also interested in expanding access. In addition to our home office staff, AAP employs a team of field consultants to coordinate state-level project activity in multiple states across the U.S and partners with national and state-based organizations to develop and implement project activities.
