Position Responsibilities:

As part of the Planned Parenthood team, the Health Center Director will lead and direct a comprehensive service program and manage a multi-disciplinary staff to ensure quality reproductive health care. The position oversees the strategic alignment of the health center with our Organization goals and initiatives and is responsible for building and sustaining an efficient, customer focused team. Further, to stay informed and involved, you will help with the daily patient flow of the health center while overseeing all operations to comply with Organization policy and meet or exceed projected patient volume.

  • Working with the Health Center Manager, ensure the proper facilitation of the Health Center Patient Flow.
  • Create a culture of teamwork, open communication and conflict resolution.
  • Address Health Center inefficiencies using your critical thinking and creative problem solving skills.
  • Create, monitor and evaluate all operational processes and systems to provide the best possible customer experience and service.
  • Responsible for fiscal solvency of the Health Center through assurance of appropriate patient volume and operational efficiencies.
  • Manage the annual budget and continually analyze and monitor the financial outcome to insure the best use of resources.
  • Lead a comprehensive on-boarding and training process for new employees.
  • Drive employee recruitment, retention and team development.
  • Use both strong verbal and written communication skills to keep the staff informed.


Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree in a related field or equivalent training and experience; MS degree desirable.
  • 4 to 7 years experience managing a diversified staff and department operations.
  • Prefer a minimum of two (2) years experience in a health, medical or social service setting.
  • Reproductive health, managed/primary care, and/or abortion services experience a plus.
