About us, Planned Parenthood Mar Monte (PPMM) provides a range of reproductive and general health services including adult primary health care, pediatrics, prenatal, birth control, cancer screening, pregnancy testing, sterilization, STD screening and treatment. We are currently seeking an experienced Enterprise Systems Project Manager. This is a full-time position which the ideal candidate must be flexible during time of change and able to travel as necessary throughout PPMM affiliate.
Position Responsibilities:
Oversee the successful delivery and quality control of one or more complex projects through all of the defined phases of the project life cycle. This includes planning, coordinating, implementing and finalizing new clinical and business applications, system upgrades, application rollouts, and related infrastructure projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. Responsible in acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of designated team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. Responsible in demonstrating subject matter expertise in project management, scope definition, risk identification, methodology and resource allocation or facilitation in the healthcare IT industry.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 8 years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
- In-depth working knowledge of healthcare IT, including integration.
- Proficiency with MS Office and project management software, such as MS project.
- Experience with SQL Server database.
- Experience with EPM/EMR Software such as NextGen.
- Extensive experience with healthcare data, health care information exchange and analytics including HL7
- Knowledge of HIPAA and other healthcare legal affairs.
- PMP certification (Project Management Professional), RHIT, RHIA, and other healthcare certifications an added advantage
