About us, Planned Parenthood Mar Monte (PPMM) provides a range of reproductive and general health services including adult primary health care, pediatrics, prenatal, birth control, cancer screening, pregnancy testing, sterilization, STD screening and treatment. We are currently seeking a full-time EMR Application Specialist.
Position Responsibilities:
- Act as Helpdesk support for all EMR/EPM application related issues to assist staff in using the system properly
- Perform audits of electronic medical records and practice management charge entry to ensure appropriate billing
- Serve as a resource to all health centers to support ongoing improvements to center operations by providing information about the capabilities of business and clinical applications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience;
- One to two year’s experience in an outpatient medical setting;
- Minimum of one year’s experience with a Practice Management System and Electronic Medical Record—NextGen preferred;
- Experience working in a customer service or training capacity;
