Description of Organization: The Association of Reproductive Health Professionals (ARHP) is a nonprofit membership association dedicated to planning and executing high quality clinical education programs for health professionals. As the leading source for trusted medical education on reproductive and sexual health, ARHP educates health care providers, informs consumers, and impacts public policy. We are the association that brings together health care professionals across disciplines and specialties for evidence based training and network building among committed colleagues. Position Responsibilities: Interns may support work related to the following activities:
- Updating content in the Reproductive Health Topic Areas, educational tools, and other web-based resources at www.arhp.org
- Promoting for the ARHP annual meeting and upcoming programs
- Facilitating membership outreach and correspondence
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: Students interested in reproductive health issues are encouraged to apply. Candidates should be team players with good oral and written communication skills, a positive attitude, and willingness to learn and adapt quickly. Ability to be innovative, organized, manage time well, provide excellent customer service, and experience with 2007 Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the internet are preferred. Applicants must currently be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate level program and be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week for a minimum of 8 weeks.
