Description of Organization:
Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania (PPSP) is an affiliate of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA). PPSP serves Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties in Pennsylvania.
Position Responsibilities:
We have several full-time, part-time, and per diem positions available. The CRNP will function in an expanded role in the provision of reproductive health care for women and men and will perform and supervise medical aspects of patient care in contraceptive center in accordance with PPSP standing orders, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications:
Candidates must be licensed or certified as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Pennsylvania with training in a recognized program or its equivalent. Candidates must possess strong clinical skills and experience and/or interest in reproductive healthcare, women's health, and family planning, to include, STD's, contraceptive, pregnancy sizing, and options counseling.
Candidate with experience in male examination is desirable. Malpractice coverage assumed by CRNP if individual coverage required by the State. Candidate must be willing to work two or three evenings and/or Saturdays and must be able to travel to other PPSP sites within Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties as needed.
