Position Responsibilities: This position is responsible for managing and supervising patient care in the clinic, achieving high patient satisfaction and clinic productivity and assuring compliance with Medical Standards and Guidelines as well as internal policies and procedures. Contributes to the success of the agency through effective management of patient flow, management of patient medical cases and by education of non-licensed staff.
Qualifications:
- Skill in ability to prioritize, direct, motivate, coach, evaluate and coordinate the patient flow
- Skill in communicating clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively as both member and leader of interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to develop, evaluate, interpret and implement policies and procedures
- Ability to assume responsibility and effectively prioritize multiple duties
- Ability to work in a self-motivated and proactive manner
- Ability to travel between clinics and/or administrative offices
- Ability to perform all clinician and job duties independently by the end of the probationary period
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Advanced Practice Clinician degree (CNM, CNP or PA): License or certification for advanced nurse practice within the state
- Nurse practitioner, nurse midwife or PA training and subsequent experience in reproductive health care
- NCC certification (or certification by another recognized body) recommended but not required.
- Valid driver’s license
