Resources for Additional Research

These journals and Internet (online) resources address the academic needs of faculty, medical students, health care providers, and allied health professionals. They provide a wide range of reproductive health information through portals, online databases, and peer-reviewed journals. Priority has been given to resources available free or at reduced cost to developing countries, as well as resources available in languages other than English.

The online peer-reviewed journals listed in this section represent research in a range of reproductive health topic areas. Subscription rates vary widely. The rates listed here represent the range of rates presented for individuals and institutions and indicate whether reduced rates are available for developing country subscribers. Several journals or selected issues are available free. For open access journals that provide free full text articles, see the Open AccessJournal section that follows. The most recent subscription information available as of August 2004 is listed in U.S. dollars, unless otherwise indicated.
