Web Faculty Bios
- David Grimes, MD: He is one of a small number of U.S. physicians Board certified in both obstetrics and gynecology and in preventive medicine. His research interests have focused on fertility regulation, technology assessment, sexually transmitted diseases, and clinical epidemiology. He currently serves as Vice President of Biomedical Affairs at Family Health International and Clinical Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UNC.
- Scott Spear, MD : He is the Director of Clinical Services at University Health Services and Associate Professor of Pediatrics (CHS) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Accreditation Information
The Association of Reproductive Health Professionals is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education (CME) for physicians. ARHP designates its web-based continuing medical education activities for 1 credit hour in Category 1 of the Physician's Recognition Award of the American Medical Association. These activities have been approved by the Continuing Education Approval Program of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health for 1 contact hour. Credit can be applied toward the nursing continuing requirements of most professional organizations and State Boards of Nursing.
