The Felicia Stewart Center provides community meeting space at no cost for reproductive health and rights work in both the Nation’s Capital and the California Bay Area. This unique space is being created on two coasts to honor Dr. Stewart’s pioneering spirit and advance her lifelong dedication to the reproductive health and rights movement.

Felicia Stewart, MD
Dr. Stewart worked tirelessly to advance reproductive health over her three decades in the field . As a champion for evidence-based science, she was dedicated to ensuring that reproductive health research, policy, and communications were continuously interactive. In addition to being a brilliant academic scholar, Dr. Stewart served on the board of directors of ARHP and was a co-founder and director of ANSIRH. She is remembered by her friends and colleagues as a fearless leader and advocate for compassionate, evidence-based reproductive health care.
Stewart Centers East & West
ARHP and ANSIRH are creating the Stewart Centers East & West to honor Dr. Stewart’s commitment to quality research, community activism, and the ideals of the reproductive health and rights movement. On both coasts, the Stewart Center offers a free, well-equipped space in which members of progressive nonprofit organizations can convene meetings and events.
In an ongoing effort to promote open dialogue about reproductive and sexual health issues, ARHP and ANSIRH plan to host bicoastal Quarterly Conversations in the Stewart Centers. Renowned experts in the field will be invited to present recent findings to educate and inform their peers and the public. To maximize the reach and impact of these Quarterly Conversations, ARHP and ANSIRH will equip the Stewart Centers East & West with the technology needed to conduct teleconferences and live video streaming broadcasts.
Our Request to You
With your help, ARHP and ANSIRH are creating the Stewart Centers East & West to advance Dr. Stewart’s tremendous vision for the reproductive health and rights movement. To create and outfit these two cutting-edge community spaces, ARHP and ANSIRH need to raise $200,000.
Donors who give $1,000 or more will be honored by having their names featured in an artistic rendering to be designed exclusively for display in the Stewart Centers East & West.
