Grants, Fellowships, and Scholarships
- International Health Studies Grant Program, Massachusetts Medical Society (MMS)
Eligibility: Medical student and resident physician members of the MMS.
- Lambarene Program, The Albert Schweitzer Fellowship
Eligibility: must have completed your third year of medical school; public health fellows must be graduate level students or recent graduates.
- The Luce Scholars Program, Henry Luce Foundation
Eligibility: US citizens with at least a bachelor’s degree. Candidates must be nominated by a college or university participating in the program, in good health, and no more than twenty-nine years of age.
- M1 Summer Program, MedicIndia
Eligibility: 1 st year medical or osteopathic students attending school in US or Canada with basic understanding of Hindi, Guajarati, and/or Marathi.
- Mabelle Arole Fellowship, American Medical Students Association (AMSA)
Eligibility: U.S. citizen or permanent resident that has been accepted to medical school but has not begun their studies and is willing to defer acceptance for one year; applicant must also be able to travel to the AMSA Annual Conference for an interview.
- Overseas Fellowships in Global Health and Clinical Research, The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Fogarty International Center (FIC)
