Learning Outcomes

At the conclusion of Reproductive Health 2010, participants should be able to:

• Demonstrate newly acquired knowledge, attitudes, and skills when diagnosing and treating men, women, and adolescents for reproductive health conditions
• Integrate and translate evidence-based reproductive health and family planning into your own clinical setting, including lessons learned from scientific research in the United States and abroad
• Demonstrate effective communication and counseling skills about reproductive health with your patients and patients’ families
  
• Incorporate an awareness of current social, political, and legal issues affecting reproductive health care into your professional practice
  
• Recognize and describe why the application of scientific research is crucial to the development of best practices in evidence-based medicine
• Describe the important role that scientific research plays in reproductive health and its impact on your current and future clinical practice
