HOTEL INFORMATION
The Marriott Wardman Park hotel is located in the charming Woodley Park neighborhood in Northwest Washington, DC. It sits upon 16 acres of beautifully maintained gardens and is within close proximity to the National Zoo, National Cathedral, and the bustling Adams Morgan neighborhood. Metrorail’s Red Line and bus service are steps from the door.
The hotel offers a fitness center complete with cardiovascular equipment and free weights, a heated outdoor swimming pool, and nearby biking, running, and horseback trails. The hotel has a steakhouse, "Stone’s Throw Restaurant and Bar,” as well as pubs, a market, and a Starbucks on-site.
Sleeping rooms have a two-line phone, an iron and ironing board, coffee maker, hair dryer, and are wired for high-speed Internet access. Wireless Internet is available in public areas and meeting rooms. A crib or rollaway bed is available upon request.

Room Rates
The Marriott Wardman Park room rate for Reproductive Health 2008 attendees is $219 single/$239 double/$259 triple/$279 quadruple + tax. This room rate is honored until Sunday, August 17, 2008. Should you need to cancel a reservation being held on a credit card, the deposit is refundable if notice is received at least seven days prior to arrival and a cancellation number is obtained.

Check In/Out
Check-in at the Marriott Wardman Park is 3:00 PM; check-out is 12:00 PM.
Cut-Off Date
The conference room rate is honored until Sunday, August 17, 2008. Hotel reservations received after August 17, 2008 are subject to availability and the hotel’s standard room rates may apply.
Parking
Valet parking is offered at the Marriott Wardman Park for $37/day. Self parking for hotel guests is $32/day. Street parking is not typically available because of residential permits.
Roommate Locator Service
ARHP is offering a roommate locator service until Friday, August 29, 2008. If you check the appropriate box on the registration form, your information will be provided to others who have requested this service as well. You will receive a list of potential roommates in advance of the conference, which you may use to locate a roommate. Updated lists will be sent periodically. We recommend that each person make a hotel reservation, then cancel one upon locating a roommate (keeping the cancellation policy in mind). The Marriott Wardman Park is located approximately 9 miles from Ronald Reagan National Airport, 25 miles from Dulles International Airport, and 35 miles from Baltimore Washington International Airport. Ground Transportation
From Ronald Reagan National Airport, Super Shuttle service is available for approximately $12 per person. Taxi service is available for approximately $18.
Metrorail runs from National Airport to the hotel. To get to the Wardman Park Marriott, board either a Yellow Line train toward Mount Vernon Square/7th Street Convention Center or a Blue Line train toward Largo Town Center. From the Yellow Line, switch to the Red Line heading toward Shady Grove at the Gallery Place/Chinatown station. From the Blue Line, switch to the Red Line heading toward Shady Grove at the Metro Center station. Exit the Red Line train at the Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan station and walk 0.12 miles west to the Marriott. Cost is approximately $2.55. From Dulles International Airport, Super Shuttle service is available for approximately $27 per person. Taxi service is available for approximately $55.
From Dulles Airport, Washington Flyer Coach Service can take you non-stop to Metrorail’s West Falls Church station for $9 one-way or $16 round-trip. From the West Falls Church station, board an Orange Line train toward New Carrollton. At the Metro Center station, switch to a Red Line train toward Shady Grove. Exit the Red Line train at the Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan station and walk 0.12 miles west to the Marriott. Cost is approximately $1.85. From Baltimore Washington International Airport, Super Shuttle service is available for approximately $35 per person. Taxi service is available for approximately $79.
Metro now offers BWI Express Metro bus service between BWI and Metrorail’s Greenbelt station. The BWI Express/B30 service runs every 40 minutes, 7 days a week, picking up at the lower end of the terminal. From the Greenbelt station, board a Green Line train toward Branch Avenue. At the Fort Totten station, switch to a Red Line train toward Shady Grove. Exit the train at the Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan station and walk 0.12 miles west to the Marriott. You can also get from BWI to Washington DC’s Union Station via the MARC or Amtrak trains. Both trains pick up at the BWI Rail Station. Free shuttles marked with “Amtrak” pick up at the lower level of the terminal with service to the Rail Station. At the rail station you can purchase a one-way or round-trip ticket to Union Station. The
MARC train’s Penn Line runs Monday through Friday only and costs $6 each way. Amtrak runs more frequently and costs between $12 and $40 each way. Additional information about Amtrak is available at
http://www.amtrak.com. At Union Station, exit the train and follow signs for Metro. Board a Red Line train toward Shady Grove. Exit the train at the Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan station and
